Assisted living is comparable to the halfway point between being able to live at home independently and living in a nursing home.  Assisted living facilities provide services that help people, yet provide no medical services to residents.  People needing medical services still access those through home health agencies while living in our facility.  We provide medication management, laundry support, food preparation and serving, housekeeping, and assistance with various activities that help make resident's lives easier.  Independent mobility is required to live in our facility - that simply means that our residents need to be able to move about on their own.  Many of our residents use walkers, canes, and other assistive devices that allow for independent mobility.
